Karis owns Blush Medical Aesthetics located at 16 Pinsent Drive, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL. She is fully certified in both Basic and Advanced Neuromodulators (e.g., Botox) & Dermal Fillers through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics and accreditation from the Canadian Nurses Association. Other training for medical aesthetics and certifications through the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine and THMA.

Karis is a compassionate nurse with a relentless eye for detail. Her healthcare journey as a nurse began when she graduated in 2017 with honours, and with over 7 years experience in the medical field spanning across the Lewisporte After-hours Clinic/North Haven Manor to the Dr. Hugh Twomey Heath Centre and then the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre in Grand Falls-Windsor. At all locations Karis worked as a float nurse, meaning she was involved in most units from LTC to medicine, and emergency.
In 2022, Karis pursued a different career path into the beauty industry while maintaining an active nursing license with the goal in mind of continuing learning to become a cosmetic nurse injector. She opened her own local business in Grand Falls-Windsor primarily focusing on permanent make-up. Since then, Karis has become fully certified in Basic and Advanced Neuromodulators (e.g., Botox) & Dermal Fillers through the Canadian Association of Medical Aesthetics and accreditation from the Canadian Nurses Association in 2023. She continues to study and learn medical aesthetics and plans on bringing new and exciting treatments to her patients.
Karis believes in enhancing what you already have, your natural self. She feels as though her permanent make-up business background, education, and techniques sets her apart from other injectors. Karis has a thorough understanding and foundation of beauty.
Karis’s passion for health and beauty has brought her to the next stage, the opening of her injections clinic where she hopes to bring her compassion and professionalism to the ever expanding world of aesthetic medicine. She is dedicated to blend the art of aesthetics and the science in nursing to empower individuals to rediscover self love, and feel confident in their own skin. Her goal is to always ensure a comfortable, safe and positive experience for her clients. Karis is ecstatic to meet you and work with you to achieve your unique aesthetic goals!
Aside from nursing, Karis is a dog lover, a big foodie, and loves all things beauty, as well as spending time with her family! She loves camping, boat rides, and watching her kids play sports.
